Project description
The relocation of the adidas store to the new premises of the historic and listed Rappolt House at Mönckebergstraße 11 was marked by complex coordination processes between the building authority, the owner, structural engineers and the client. Large ceiling loads had to be introduced into the building structure, which was built in 1906. For this purpose, an elaborate steel structure was erected to reinforce the existing building fabric.
The new adidas store concept was implemented here for the first time as a pilot project, so the interior construction was accompanied by numerous "last minute adjustments", which were all managed and made possible by the committed general contractor.
