Project description
Sylt offers a particularly exciting environment for the construction industry. The existing iconic thatched-roof architecture has been designated the guiding principle here by building regulations, and so out-of-the-box thinking is often required for new construction projects and redevelopment projects in order to harmonize this historic element with modern lines. Also of interest here is the development of largely below-grade building additions, as new building volumes are generally not allowed to be constructed above the site line.
